She went on to earn her Bachelor’s in English from Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi, and completed her Master’s in Media and Cultural Studies at Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai. In 2022, Kavya left her role at Pocket Aces’ Nutshell India and launched KK Create—a channel aimed at telling raw, human stories from India’s 800 districts. Her goal: to spotlight lives that are often overlooked and misunderstood. Since then, her work has drawn global attention.
